We guarantee all of our products. If for any reason, you are not satisfied with your order, please notify us at 301-631-2439 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 24 hours of receipt and we will promptly refund your money, re-ship/replace your order, or make other arrangements.
Please inspect your package immediately upon receipt. All claims must be placed within 24 hours of receipt. We will do everything possible to ensure your package arrives in a timely manner, but we cannot be responsible for damaged or compromised product due to the following:
- Delayed deliveries due to weather.
- Incorrect addresses (Please be sure to include apartment, suite or floor numbers, as needed. Delivery & re-delivery charges will apply.)
- Unopened shipments.
- Gift shipments sent to recipients who are out of town or otherwise unavailable to receive their shipment.
- Items that have been discarded or consumed.
How We Ship
Cutting the Cheese
Everyday, our cheese mongers hand-select the freshest and ripest cheese before cutting it to order. At Crisafulli’s, we believe that cutting cheese is an art, not a science. So, while your cheese may be slightly over or slightly under what you ordered, you can rest assured knowing that it was cut just for you.
Due to seasonality and supply limitations, we may ask if we can substitute a product of equal or greater value.
Wrapping the Cheese
After our cheese mongers hand-cut your cheese, it is meticulously wrapped in specially formulated Formaticum cheese paper. The paper allows the cheese to breathe while maintaining optimal humidity to prevent the cheese from drying out. This way, the cheese can continue maturing on its journey to your door.
Packing the Cheese
You can rest assured knowing that we have taken the proper precautions to ensure that the products in your order arrive at the peak of freshness, We pack all of our orders in insulated boxes complete with ice packs. Cheese is a perishable item and we make every effort so that it arrives to you in satisfactory condition.
Shipping the Cheese
We ship via FedEx three days a week (for arrival either Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, depending on the day the order is received). We currently ship to the contiguous United States only (no P.O. boxes).
Depending on the contents of your order and the destination of your shipment, you’ll be offered overnight, two day, or ground shipping.
Since some of our cheeses can only be in transit for one day, overnight shipping may be your only option. If you’re ordering harder cheeses, you may be offered 2 day shipping.
When placing an order please make arrangements to have your cheese put under refrigeration as soon as possible upon arriving at your door. All shipments are left at the delivery address without a signature. You can always call us (301-631-2439) with special shipping questions or concerns.
Cheese Subscription packages are shipped for arrival on the first Friday of every month.
The PeriShip Guarantee
We’ve partnered with PeriShip, a logistics provider that works exclusively with FedEx to manage perishable shipments. After your order is packed and out the door, PeriShip will monitor your package and notify you of any changes or issues.
When will my order ship?
You will receive an order confirmation immediately after placing your order. It takes one business day to receive and process your order. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email.
